    Charlie Bertini's own record company's site. Charlie is a fantastic trumpet player, and a great friend. He often comes to Timucua to listen or to play.

    Sam is a living legend, and still very active in musical creation. A great man.

    Roger loves straight-ahead jazz, and he keeps spreading the word.

    Jean-François is my bassist at Cirque. He is an amateur photographer who works mainly in black and white. His landscapes are beautiful.

    Paul is a full time artist of great talent who lives right here in Hunter's Creek.

Friends in High Places
  • Jens Lindemann
    Jens is one of the world's premier trumpet soloists. He lives in L.A. with his wife Jennifer. We played together years ago when he was studying at McGill.
  • Canadian Brass
    The world's best known brass quintet. Jens played with them for five years before resuming his solo career. Jeff Nelsen plays horn with them. I also know Jeff from our McGill days. They are kind enough to read some of my compositions.
  • Michel Cusson
    Michel is a great friend. He is also my mentor, and I recorded several CD's with him, as well as many soundtracks. He is Canada's most successful film composer, with dozens of awards to his name.
  • Alain Trudel
    Alain is one of handful of trombonists in the world today who enjoy a successful solo career. He plays all kinds of styles, and has been and ambassador for living composers.
